Visits Left is an app made by Chirag Gupta. It estimates how many more times you might see the people you love, as a gentle reminder to stay in touch. This policy explains what data the app collects and what it does not.
We don't collect your name, email, phone number, address, or any other personal information. There is no account. There is no login. There is no server that stores the people you add.
We don't sell or share your data. We don't show ads. We don't track you across other apps or websites.
The people you add, their relationship and age or birth year, the optional sex used only to refine the estimate, how often you see each person, the visits you log, any notes you attach, and your settings, including whether you've unlocked the app, are stored locally on your device using MMKV. None of this is uploaded.
If you delete the app, all of this data is gone. We have no copy and no way to recover it.
Settings gives you two direct controls. Use "Export my data" to get your own copy of everything the app has stored. Use "Delete my data" to erase everything the app has stored on your device, right now, without deleting the app.
Visits Left offers a single one-time purchase to unlock everything. We use RevenueCat to manage that purchase and to remember that you've unlocked the app, including "Restore Purchase". On first use of a purchase, an anonymous RevenueCat user identifier is generated on your device and sent to RevenueCat to verify the unlock.
This identifier is not linked to your name, email, Apple ID, or any other identifier. The payment itself is handled by Apple. We never see your card or billing details.

We use PostHog to understand, in aggregate, how the app is used, so we can improve it. Events are anonymous and bucketed. An event may carry a coarse, non-identifying category, such as which kind of relationship was chosen or a bucket for the visits number, never the exact number, a name, or any personal detail. Events are tied to an anonymous device-level identifier, not to you as a person.
We do not collect the names of your people, exact ages, exact visit counts, notes, contacts, or location. We do not use this data for advertising or cross-app tracking.

If the app crashes, a stack trace is sent to Sentry along with your device model and OS version. We disable personally identifying information, screenshots, and session replay. Crash reports do not include your people, visits, or notes.
